Em 2001, quando praticamente ningu\u00e9m falava sobre transporte individual movido a eletricidade, o engenheiro Dean Kamen deu a luz \u00e0 Segway<\/strong><\/a> e seu primeiro e ic\u00f4nico produto de mesmo nome, o Segway, uma esp\u00e9cie de patinete com duas rodas paralelas que valia-se da tecnologia de auto balance por conta da evolu\u00e7\u00e3o e barateamento dos girosc\u00f3pios (respons\u00e1vel pelo equil\u00edbrio do aparelho). O tempo passou e o Segway acabou virando sin\u00f4nimo de transporte de guarda de shopping center. O timing adiantado acabou n\u00e3o levando ao consumo em massa por usu\u00e1rios finais e o hype acabou desaparecendo. Em 2015 a Ninebot<\/strong><\/a>, empresa chinesa de equipamentos inteligentes de transporte a curta dist\u00e2ncia, com investimento de capital da gigante chinesa Xiaomi<\/strong><\/a>, not\u00f3ria pelos smartphones high end de baixo custo, comprou a Segway (curiosamente depois de ser acusada de viola\u00e7\u00e3o de patente pela Segway). Em dezembro de 2019, a Ninebot anunciou sua primeira motocicleta esportiva el\u00e9trica, a Apex.<\/p>\n

In 2001, when practically no one was talking about individual transportation powered by electricity, engineer Dean Kamen gave birth to Segway and its first and iconic product of the same name, the Segway, a kind of scooter with two parallel wheels that used self-balance technology due to the evolution and cheapness of the gyroscopes (responsible for the self-balance of the device). The early timing ended up not leading to mass consumption by end users and the hype ended up disappearing. In 2015, Ninebot, a Chinese company for smart short-distance transport equipment, with capital investment from Chinese giant Xiaomi, notorious for its low-cost high-end smartphones, bought Segway (interestingly after being accused of patent infringement by Segway) . In December 2019, Ninebot announced its first electric sports motorcycle, the Apex.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Na feira de inova\u00e7\u00e3o CES 2020 (Consumer Electronics Show), em janeiro desse ano,  a Apex foi uma das atra\u00e7\u00f5es revelando mais alguns detalhes do projeto por\u00e9m acabou sendo ofuscada por outro lan\u00e7amento da Segway, o S-pod, uma cadeira de rodas de transporte individual dotada de auto-balance n\u00e3o necessariamente dedicada a pessoas com mobilidade reduzida. O produto lembrou o transporte futur\u00edstico individual mostrado na anima\u00e7\u00e3o Wall-E onde a humanidade n\u00e3o fazia mais esfor\u00e7o nem para se locomover com as pr\u00f3prias pernas. At the CES 2020 (Consumer Electronics Show) innovation fair, in January of this year, Apex was one of the attractions revealing some more details of the project but ended up being overshadowed by another Segway launch, the S-pod, a kind of wheelchair<\/span> individual transport <\/span>equipped with self-balance but not necessarily dedicated to people with reduced mobility.<\/span> The product was reminiscent of the individual futuristic transport shown in the Wall-E animation, where humanity did not even make an effort to move around with its own legs (here it is <\/span>the controversy).<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Uma marca relativamente comum quando se trata de esportivas tradicionais com motor a explos\u00e3o mas uma marca interessante para um ve\u00edculo el\u00e9trico. Ninebot was already known for its significant line of low-cost electric scooters and surprised everyone with the announcement of the Apex, a true sport motorcycle in its conception and design capable of generating 150 hp and reaching 200 km per hour going from 0 to 100 in 4 seconds (some sources speak in 2.9 seconds). A relatively common achievement when it comes to traditional sport bikes using an internal combustion engine but an interesting achievement for an electric vehicle. As usual, autonomy, the Achilles heel of electric vehicles, is still an undisclosed figure.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

Rumores n\u00e3o confirmados dizem que a motocicleta \u00e9 baseada no chassi da Yamaha R6. O que at\u00e9 certo ponto faz sentido j\u00e1 que a Apex \u00e9 esguia ficando em termos de volume entre uma 300cc e uma 1000cc.<\/p>\n

Unconfirmed rumors say the motorcycle is based on the Yamaha R6 chassis. Which makes sense since the Apex is slender in terms of volume, staying in size between a 300cc and a 1000cc motorcycle.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

O projeto foi desenvolvido inteiramente nos Estados Unidos. O design da motocicleta foi tarefa do designer de produto chin\u00eas Chen Jiang<\/a> que optou pelo minimalismo para que a motocicleta se destacasse no conjunto e n\u00e3o nos detalhes. O processo foi modelar em argila sobre um chassi, depois escanear o modelo e ajusta-lo em software 3D. O processo inteiro levou 7 meses.<\/p>\n

The project was developed entirely in the United States. The design of the motorcycle was the task of Chinese product designer Chen Jiang, who opted for minimalism so that the motorcycle stood out in the entire set and not for the details. The process was to model in clay over a chassis, then scan the model and adjust it in 3D software. The entire process took 7 months.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n
