Em uma primeira olhada, era dif\u00edcil identificar exatamente todas as pe\u00e7as e partes que formavam o conjunto. Mas nunca hav\u00edamos visto algo parecido antes. Mesmo com toda a excentricidade, e muita criatividade dos construtores, o resultado ficou fant\u00e1stico. Foi paix\u00e3o \u00e0 primeira vista.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\">Like in any other day, while we were scrolling through Instagram feed looking for different and interesting motorcycle projects, the <strong>MAD GT3<\/strong> appeared like a bomb in our heads. In a first look was hard to identify exactly all the parts. But we never had seen something like that before. Even with all the eccentricity and lots of creativity of the builder the results ended look awesome. We fell in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A motocicleta era de um cara bacana, rebelde e super cabe\u00e7a aberta do Jap\u00e3o: <strong>Motoyan<\/strong>. N\u00e3o poderia ser diferente. Como a gente sabe, toda motocicleta tem um pouco da personalidade de seu dono.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\">The bike came from a nice, rebel and open-minded guy from\nJapan: Motoyan. It could not be different. Um motor em V 90 graus de 250cc com 45 cavalos da capetinha <strong>Honda NSR 250<\/strong>. O quadro, na verdade parte dele, veio de outra cl\u00e1ssica, uma <strong>Triumph TR6<\/strong> dos anos 60. Mas no projeto, acredite, a moto foi convertida em uma rabo duro por interm\u00e9dio de um subframe feito sob medida. A TR6 original tem o subframe parafusado ao quadro e, portanto, o processo de fazer a convers\u00e3o \u00e9 relativamente simples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\">The engine is a two stroke from one of that small classic sport bikes that flooded the streets of Japan in the 80s and 90s. A V twin 90o 250cc delivering 45HP from the <strong>Honda NSR 250<\/strong>. The frame, at least part of it, came from another classic, a <strong>Triumph TR6<\/strong> from the 60s. But in the project, the bike, believe or not, was converted to a hardtail with a custom subframe. The original Triumph model has the subframe bolted to the main frame. Louco\no suficiente certo? N\u00e3o. Tem mais.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\">Seat and rear fairing, besides the engine, wheels and\ndashboard, came from the NSR as well. Well, is crazy enough right? No. There is\nmore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os pneus s\u00e3o de uso misto, a carenagem frontal, com inspira\u00e7\u00e3o no estilo B\u014ds\u014dzoku, foi comprada em um site de leil\u00f5es e o tanque veio da <strong>Honda XL 125 Paris Dakar<\/strong> (modelo que nunca vimos por aqui em nosso mercado). Por fim, a cereja do bolo s\u00e3o os far\u00f3is duplos dianteiros CIBIE com lentes amarelas e prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra pedras e detritos, ambos projetados para fora da carenagem no melhor estilo das motos de competi\u00e7\u00e3o de longa dura\u00e7\u00e3o dos anos 70 e 80. E como Motoyan tem uma skate shop, a moto \u00e9 coberta com um monte de adesivos maneiros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\">The tires are dual purpose, the front fairing, in a typical B\u014ds\u014dzoku style, was bought in an auction site and the fuel tank came from a <strong>Honda XL 125 Paris Dakar<\/strong> (a model that we never have here in our market). Finally, the ice on the cake was a dual headlight with yellow lens from CIBIE projected to outside the fairing like the endurance bikes from 70s and 80s. Your presence on the internet is almost a portrait of your rebellious and restless personality which is also reflected in your bike. Tell us a little about yourself, your influences, and your lifestyle.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Motoyan<\/strong> &#8211; I was born in Tokyo (Japan) in 1975. And today I have my own skate shop called <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/cpwskateshop.shop-pro.jp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (abre numa nova aba)\">CPW Skate Shop<\/a><\/strong>. <br>Well, I have a lot of influences, but I can say that <strong>Mad Max<\/strong> movie is probably a big one of it&#8230; and some another movies like <strong>Blues Brothers<\/strong> for example.<br>I had lived in the US, in Boston, for 8 years. There I worked at the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sincitycycles.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (abre numa nova aba)\">Sin City Cycles<\/a><\/strong>, a shop from my old boss, <strong>Greg<\/strong>. A carenagem frontal tem um qu\u00ea de influ\u00eancia B\u014ds\u014dzoku, certo? Voc\u00ea usa a moto no dia a dia? Ela tem um nome?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Motoyan<\/strong> \u2013 A moto na verdade foi feita pela <strong><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (abre numa nova aba)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kaikado.com\/menu.html\" target=\"_blank\">Kaikado Kustom Service<\/a><\/strong>. N\u00e3o \u00e9 trabalho necessariamente meu. Colocar o motor da <strong>NSR 250<\/strong> no quadro de uma <strong>Triumph<\/strong> foi ideia do <strong>Masao Ogawa<\/strong>, o propriet\u00e1rio da <strong>Kaikado Kustom<\/strong>. Tudo come\u00e7ou com o tanque da<strong> XL 125<\/strong> e foi a primeira coisa que enviei para ele. Eu precisava de um tanque com maior capacidade por que costumo andar muito em regi\u00f5es de montanha onde n\u00e3o existem postos de gasolina. A mesma coisa aconteceu com a carenagem pois eu tamb\u00e9m utilizo muito rodovias e, por isso, preciso de prote\u00e7\u00e3o adequada para o vento. Ent\u00e3o, como voc\u00ea percebe, a moto come\u00e7ou a tomar forma baseada no uso que eu faria dela.<br>A carenagem eu encontrei em um site de leil\u00f5es. \u00c9 da <strong>Honda CBX 400 F<\/strong>, uma moto muito utilizada pela cultura B\u014ds\u014dzoku. Ent\u00e3o, sim. O projeto tem influ\u00eancia deles tamb\u00e9m. <br>Por fim, eu queria muito far\u00f3is duplos com lente amarela e prote\u00e7\u00e3o contra pedras. \u00c9 um neg\u00f3cio bem dif\u00edcil de encontrar e eu sabia que iria encaixar perfeitamente na carenagem. Ent\u00e3o dei uma garimpada e consegui um par. O nome dela \u00e9 MAD GT 3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Motocultura &#8211; The bike that caught our attention is fantastic. It has a little bit of each style. In addition, there are a lot of cool stickers that I think is something very characteristic of the skate world. How was the idea to make this bike? Did you do everything yourself or did you have someone to help you? Could you detail a little bit of all the parts for us? We are curious about the 2-stroke engine! The front fairing somewhat resembles the B\u014ds\u014dzoku style. That&#8217;s right? Do you use the bike in your daily commute? Does the bike have a name?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Motoyan<\/strong> &#8211; In fact my bike was built by <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Kaikado Kustom Service (abre numa nova aba)\" href=\"http:\/\/www.kaikado.com\/menu.html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Kaikado Kustom Service<\/strong><\/a>. It is not exactly my job. To put a Honda <strong>NSR 250<\/strong> engine in that frame was an idea from <strong>Masao Ogawa<\/strong>, the owner of<strong> Kaikado Kustom<\/strong>. Everything started with the fuel tank from the <strong>XL 125<\/strong> and was the first part that I send to him. I did need a bigger fuel capacity because I ride a lot in mountains areas where there no gas stations. The same with the front fairing because I ride most part of the time in the highways and, naturally, I would need a nice wind protection. So, like you see, the bike started to be build keeping in mind what would be the use that I would do with it. <br>The front fairing was found in an auction site and came from a <strong>Honda CBX400F<\/strong>, a quite common model for the Bosozoku bikes. So, yes, there is a Bosozoku influence in the bike as well.<br>Finally, I really wanted dual head lights with yellow lens and stone guards. It is a pretty rare item and I knew that it would fit perfectly on my fairing. So I dig it and found one. Mas voc\u00ea fugiu completamente disso e o resultado ficou incr\u00edvel. Voc\u00ea colocou seu jeit\u00e3o rebelde na sua moto o que \u00e9 fant\u00e1stico. Tendo como refer\u00eancia esse seu olhar, que dica ou recado voc\u00ea daria para os customizadores nesse sentido?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Motoyan<\/strong> \u2013 Eu n\u00e3o ligo a m\u00ednima para o que os outros dizem. Eu queria a MINHA motocicleta. Mas, por outro lado, eu ou\u00e7o as sugest\u00f5es de meus amigos. Algo como <em>\u201cEi Moto, voc\u00ea precisa de uma carenagem pois voc\u00ea anda r\u00e1pido\u201d<\/em>. Ent\u00e3o eu penso, e digo, <em>\u201c\u00c9. Tem raz\u00e3o. Realmente eu preciso de uma. Valeu brother!\u201d<\/em><br>Por exemplo, os pneus s\u00e3o <strong>Pirelli Scorpion<\/strong>. Foi sugest\u00e3o de amigos tamb\u00e9m.<br>Ent\u00e3o eu enviei todas essas coisas para a Kaikado. E eles montaram tudo de uma maneira que tudo se encaixou direitinho. Eles s\u00e3o os melhores.<br>Masao me disse que toda vez que ele abria uma caixa com algo que eu enviava ele entrava em p\u00e2nico. Nem eu e nem ele sab\u00edamos se tudo iria se encaixar e como ficaria parecendo. N\u00e3o sab\u00edamos exatamente o que iria resultar. At\u00e9 por que n\u00f3s n\u00e3o quer\u00edamos copiar um projeto que eventualmente vimos nas revistas ou internet.<br>Mas o resultado final ficou muito legal e ficamos felizes com ele. Ouvi dizer que o Masao teve muito trabalho pra fazer a parte el\u00e9trica e para construir as c\u00e2maras de expans\u00e3o dos escapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Motocultura &#8211; Motorcycle customization currently have many definitions of style. But you ran away from it completely and the result was incredible. You projected your rebel spirit on your bike which is fantastic. Having your vision as a reference, what tip or message would you give to bike builders in this regard?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Motoyan<\/strong> &#8211;  I really don&#8217;t care about anything that everyone says. I wanted my OWN motorcycle. But, in another way, I use to hear my friends&#8217; suggestions. Like, &#8220;Hey Moto, you need a fairing because you ride in high speed.&#8221;. Then i go like &#8220;Oh, I see. I definitely need one! Thanks bro!&#8221; <br>For example, the tires are <strong>Pirelli Scorpion<\/strong>. That was a friend&#8217;s suggestion too. He said to me &#8220;There are nice dual purpose tyres for NSR front 17&#8243; and rear 18&#8243; wheels.&#8221;<br>Then I sent all those different parts for Kaikado and he assemble everything in perfect shape. He is the best.<br>Masao said each time he opens a box which was sent from me made him have a little panic. Neither He and I were not sure if all these parts would fit on my bike and how it would looks will be. We didn&#8217;t know what would happen. Because we didn&#8217;t want immitate someone&#8217;s bike in the magazines or internet.<br>But it ended up very nice and we were very happy. Como \u00e9 essa quest\u00e3o no Jap\u00e3o? Mais f\u00e1cil?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9 a mesma coisa por aqui. Uma vez a cada dois anos temos de passar as motos por uma inspe\u00e7\u00e3o. Mas abaixo de 250 cilindradas n\u00e3o h\u00e1 essa inspe\u00e7\u00e3o. Ent\u00e3o a gente pode fazer o que bem entender nesses modelos. Por isso escolhi a <strong>Honda NSR 250<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Motocultura &#8211; Here in Brazil, the law prohibits everything. It is always a huge problem to change anything on motorcycles and this weakens the customization scene that ends up going through a lot of difficulties here because of that. How is the issue of legalizing motorcycle modifications in Japan? It&#8217;s easier?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"background-color:#f9f9f9\" class=\"has-background\"><strong>Motoyan<\/strong> &#8211; Law problem is just same here in Japan too. Once in two years we have an &#8220;inspection&#8221; for motorcycles. But, under 250cc models, there are NO inspection. So, we can do anything as much as we can in these models. That\u2019s why we chose the <strong>Honda NSR 250<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Motocultura \u2013 Provavelmente os customizadores brasileiros adorariam um toque de algu\u00e9m com uma cabe\u00e7a super aberta e tanta ousadia.
