Meanwhile, his British rivals were gifted a three-month head start.<br \/>\nIt was David versus Goliath \u2014 in the purest sense.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">And as if time wasn\u2019t brutal enough, Triumph imposed a list of hard restrictions. The most symbolic of them all? <b>Do not alter the wheels.<\/b><b><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">But Deguchi was never born to bow. He listened to his soul \u2014 louder than any regulation \u2014 and did what had to be done.
